Some members like society as a whole are worried about coronavirus and the risks of transmission at Court as well as self isolation. We understand that DDJs and recorders who self isolate will still be paid and the cancellation policies may be altered but the position remains unclear.  We are noticing a drop off in attendances at Court but this is only anecdotal.

Apparently the emergency bill going through parliament will include an increase in telephone and video hearings which may hasten the implementation of the online Courts.
