IT training seminars are being offered around the country in January and February 2020, aimed at increasing judicial IT ability and confidence.
Seminars are currently scheduled to take place, am and pm, in the following locations:
Manchester – 27 January 2020 – NOW FULL
London – 4 and 12 February 2020
Gateshead – 17 February 2020
Bristol – 28 February 2020
The training is available to both salaried and fee-paid judges.
The seminars are pitched at the introductory to intermediate level, with a choice of modules to tailor the learning to a judges’ particular needs or interests.
This is not a repeat of the eJudiciary IT workshops that you may already have attended – the modules have been designed to provide practical help with the software that we are currently using, to help us to use it more effectively. These seminars will better prepare us for the reform-specific solutions that will begin to be introduced next year.
The modules – from which we choose two – are:
a. Introduction to Word
b. Introduction to Outlook
c. Introduction to One Drive
d. Working on multiple screens
e. Working with your own device
f. Working with digital documents
The seminars can be booked on the Judicial College LMS or by clicking this link: https://judicialcollege.judiciary.gov.uk/mod/book/view.php?id=41279&chapterid=3052
